Part 1: Create a Vultr account with a promotion code
- Go to the Sign-Up page https://www.vultr.com/register/
- After registration success, the page below shows up

- Click Account on the left sidebar -> Make a payment
- Open a new web browser tab and go to https://www.vultr.com/coupons/
- Copy the code to get a 200$ free credit for the first month of use`1

Part 2: Deploy the Vultr instance and install clean Windows from a custom ISO
- On the left Sidebar choose Products -> Orchestration -> ISOs
- Click Add ISO on the right side
- Copy and paste the link of Windows 10 LTSC 64bit: https://iso.cloudmini.net/0:/Win10_ltsc_x64FRE_en-us.iso

- When finished uploading ISO, click Deploy at the top-right page-> Deploy new server
- Choose Type: Cloud compute - shared CPU is the cheapest and suited for small projects.
- Choose Location: choose the nearest location. It’s so important for response time.
- Choose Image: click Upload ISO -> My ISOs -> Choose uploaded ISO

- Disable auto backup to save 4.8$/month

- Server host and label: choose as you want

- Click Deploy Now and waiting the installation to finish

- When the status turns to run -> click Name
- Click View Console on the right side

- Processing installation of Windows 10.
- At “Which type of installation do you want?” -> Custom Install Windows only (advanced)

- Next screen -> Load driver → Browser → CD Drive (D:) -> Drive-Cloudmini.net-xxx — > amd64 → w 10

- Click driver on the screen → Next

- When first booting, skip connecting the network

- Enable Remote desktop: setting → system → remote desktop
- If you still don’t have a network connection, so you must install a network driver.
- Open Device Manager to install the network driver → click ethernet → browser to the driver in D:\Drive-Cloudmini.net-0.1.185\NetKVM\w10\amd64

- Use a Remote desktop app from your PC to VPS’s IP with username and password in installation. You are almost finished but the last part will ensure your VPS doesn’t auto reboot.
