In true life, you usually want to reformat your old document or other’s document. The first thing, you have to clear all text format and numbering (or bullets). This process very easy with MS Word but LibreOffice Writer not good at this.

You can download the example document: https://www.dropbox.com/s/3gvqmsm7ms7v6ck/PermissionBasedAuthorizationAspDotNetCore.docx?dl=0

  • select all (Ctr + A)
  • Right click -> Clear direct formatting (or Ctrl+M).
  • Select style in sidebar:
Sidebar
  • Pragraph Styles -> double click Default paragraph styles
  • Click Character Styles at top Styles toolbar-> double click Default Character Style
  • Click Page Styles -> double click Default Page Style
  • Now, document still has numbering and bullets: click Toggle Numbered List (F12) on LibreOffice Writer two times
  • Finish.
